Terra Cotta Pots

GoodWill Arts

This website displays works of art made by Goodwill Southern California program participants and local featured artists from our community. These original works, as well as reproductions and other items are for sale in Goodwill Southern California’s Art Gallery and Studio. Our participants, many of whom have physical and developmental disabilities, delight in expressing their love of life and for art through these amazing works.

Just as our artists transform a clay pot or canvas into works of art, so too does Goodwill Southern California transform lives by providing training, work experience, career counseling, and other services for people with disabilities, at-risk youth, veterans, those struggling to make a living wage, and others with substantial employment challenges. We help find these people respectable paying jobs that allow them to support themselves and their families.

You are the key to this art of transformation. Thank you for being part of Goodwill Southern California’s family and joining us to transform lives through the power of work.

Transforming Lives Through the Power of Work

Christopher

Chris began working at a Goodwill eight years ago in Computer Recycling, then worked as a material handler in the Assembly & Fulfillment department. Chris had previously painted a few times in school, but was able to see his artwork progress to new levels through participation in the art experience at Goodwill Southern California.

Maisie

Maisie started in the Goodwill work activity program in 2000 in the shredding department at the LA Campus. She has also spent time working in the assembly & fulfillment and warehouse stocking areas. She later moved into the Document Imaging lab and learned to operate a digital scanner on a daily basis. Maisie enjoys painting very much, which she was able to experience for the first time at Goodwill. She has continued to develop her skills as seen in the growth of her artwork.
